John Wayne Bobbitt had his clapper sewed back on … and it seems to be working fine … according to the news, he’s ringing lots of bells on the porn movie sets. ;•)

RE: Blog … The panel from a comic book … she says " .. you’ll wind up an old maid!!!" … I know a couple of “old maids” I’d like to wind up. ;•)

Re: “Children’s Year” poster on the blog. The weighing and measuring was part of a year-long campaign by the children’s Bureau of the Labor Department. The idea behind the weighing and measuring was to do more than collect statistics; most of the children would be seen by health professionals, who could identify health problems and advise parents on nutrition and health care.

Other goals of the Children’s Year were to reduce childhood mortality rates from 300,000 per year to 200,000; keep children in school; cut down on child labor; improve health and fitness by improving recreational activities. It all worked pretty well.
