Kudos to Blaze on how she delivered the bad news to Mrs. Mylar in such a delicate and sensitive way. Also, having Mrs. Mylar believe that David died in a heroic manner.

Yeah, yeah. I do like the Blaze Rize character. But what I see here is a crafty, lying, cynical young assassin now pretty much freelancing on her own. Yes, she’s sugar-coating the story for Mrs. Mylar, which is a kindness of a sort—until and unless the real truth comes out. But Blaze is not pure as the driven snow and sweet as the daisies in springtime. Let us not be deceived.

And now it’s time to pick up that computer, right Blaze?

RE: The valise. /// The last time we saw Blaze, she was leaving Davey and was only carrying her gun and a clutch purse. Where did the valise of, I presume money come from? Does it contain her share of ill-gotten gains from the Mr. Crime operation? Is she going to take Davey’s advice and give up crime?? Only the future will tell.

First question I’d ask,“Is Davey for sure gone?”

Blaze may have a bit of a soft spot for the comic book fan who got in WAY over his head, but I bet she does have her heart set on that computer.

Very nice of Blaze but what’s going to happen next to Mrs Mylar? The cops will come to tell her that they’ve found his dead body. If she indicates that she already knew, that a sweet red haired girl in a suit had been there, or that she’s got a satchel full of money, Davey’s little plan and secret ID would likely go to heck. Or, maybe I’m over thinking it. Lol

FIFTEEN!!! lol! looks like blaze has a heart of gold… BLACK gold that is! at least she gave mrs mylar some closure tho which was pretty nice. so tomorrow we get to meet stiletta… and like i asked before, i wonder if shes tied up somehow with frizzletop who we saw earlier this week? maybe blaze will ask for daveys computers after all? it woudlnt be strange for davey.. a total mama’s boy.. to give his MOM the passwords for safekeeping. i guess we will wait and see

davey wasz confirmed as dead by MIKE CURTIS.. so if the WRITER says it, then its true. as for mrs mylar ratting out blaze when and IF the cops come to tell her about davey, blaze prefaced the news to his mom by saying it was a top secret undercover mission, so i HIGHLY doubt she’ll say anything to the police about blaze

Blaze may have good motives here, but Davey Mylar was still the force that created the criminal organization. He’s behind the various crimes we’ve seen, including Blaze Rise’s revenge killing of Flakey Biscuits (Was her death properly established? Did she end up feeding a muerte vine?)

When Mylar was with Doubleup, Blaze let it slip that Mylar was the new Mr. Crime. Doubleup may have a bargaining chip there, even if the MCU can figure out Mylar’s position from other clues.

Mike Curtis has indicated that we will be starting a new story Sunday. That’s exciting, but there are a ton of loose ends with this story – if Davey is dead, then the cops have a body on their hands that they can’t account for or even identify. They will have to do ballistics on everybody and everything to find out who was shot by whom. They will have to deal with the barracuda, and trace ownership of the building where Panda had his HQ. And, we as readers know that there is at least one other individual at large – the unusual looking character who met Panda at the door of the prison and recruited him.This was the best story since the new team took over, and the art has been wonderful, and I still have high hopes for the new Dick Tracy. But,again I have a sense of unfinished business and a rushed story ending as this story winds down.

Am I the only one who thinks Davey looks like writer Paul Dini?

Obviously, Davey had time to tell Blaze where the money was before expiring.What else did he tell her?(It is nice to see she gave Momma Mylar the bad news gently.)And – what happened to Davey’s body????

Please – spare us the politics.There are plenty of other strips where such comments are welcome every day.

All that time I was bitching about how this strip was dying under Locher’s hand, I really didn’t think it would ever get any better. Sometimes it’s great to be wrong. I think it’s as good as it’s ever been these days. Maybe even better.

Kind of LIKE your suggested story-line.It has a ring of plausibility to it, particulaty the part on bilking the ongoing Ponzi Scheme,.Venezuela would make a good “hideout”. It’s said a number of Arab terrorists train on their Marguerita Island. The current President Hugo Chavez dislikes the U.S. Government intensly. Always in Cuba !

Well if “JACKDOHANY” is still reading Dick Tracy he will tell us :“I told you so !” “Look, it’s all over the news, that shooting in Colorado and it must be ALL the “violence” in comic strips like Batman and Dick Tracy that ’ motivate ’ young kids to take up this kind of action".Exactly 44 years ago, Intro and crew were killed by Tracy with an atomic weapon. Several Newspaper Editors cancelled the D.T. strip when Ted Kennedy was shot weeks apart. Unfairly, they claimed the violence in Tracy caused itThat’s a lot of CRA* ! But we need to proceed carefully, there still are some Editors that would like to pin the RAP on comics, but never a word on EXPLICIT VIOLENCE in TV or in FILMS.But let me pause and observe that the REAL life shooting situation in Colorado is sad, sad indeed !

After 7 hours, I would have thought that someone would have made the correction that Ted Kennedy was never shot. It was his brother, Bobby, who was assassinated while campaigning to be president.
