Fishy, I’m not even going to argue with you about unions pro or con. BUT:
I actually agree with you that A Scented Flower’s comment about Wal-Mart is irrelevant to this cartoon. There’s nothing in this cartoon which would lead anyone to tie it to Wal-Mart unless that persona has an axe to grind.
Likewise, you whine about unions in response to comments that have absolutely nothing to do with them. Any cartoon that takes place in a schoolroom is going to generate a comment from you about the teachers’ unions. Any cartoon which takes place in a jail cell will prompt a diatribe about how “Kalifornistan coddles inmates.” Any joke which takes place in a corporate boardroom will evoke “Ha! That’s just like a union!” from you.
