    Yes. I am still hand writing letters, and cursive is easier and more expressive.

    Unless you happen to be a chicken with an itch, the hand-written word is, sadly, dead.

    Teach your kids to journal.

    Some school districts have stopped teaching cursive writing. Fortunately ours still does.

    No Billy this is America, where we keep you in school longer and teach you less. So you can go home and whine about having to write your name 3 times. Good luck keeping up with the world kiddo. Now, go pet your cow and that cramp will go away.

    My kid is in grade four, and they haven’t taught cursive yet, so I’m assuming that it is no longer being taught. Shame, but with little use, and more pressing educational demands, it’s a bit redundant.
