I LOVE “Crabgrass”! It’s so funny and warm and utterly charming. And yes, I wish I’d had a friendship like this growing up.

It’s nice to see Kevin being the one who’s a bit sentimental, even if Miles shoots him down (in, I think, a lighthearted way).

That is beautiful, and also reminds me of one of my most embarrassing childhood moments. Classmate + I are in elementary school, washing our hands before snacktime. I look over and exclaim “OH! Your brown washed off!”

For those who are curious, I think it’s because the palms are rarely exposed to the sun and don’t need melanin for UV protection.
