Beni: What happened? Dill: It was awful. Alice put her step stool on the manhole and stood on it. She was waving her arms around and fell off, and she was crying, and her mom came out, and she went home. It was awful. Beni: Have you tried it yet? Dill: No, I'm about to. Would you like to go first?

The more awful something is, the more fun it is! …In the mind of a little kid, I guess. Recently a friend of mine had a bad accident at my house. The 7-year-old girl we were babysitting thought it was the coolest thing she had ever seen. Sigh….
