Miss Bliss: I hope you enjoyed "The Pancake Princess"! Please join us now for refreshments! Petey Otterloop, look how tall you are! What are they feeding you? Petey: Graham crackers. There's a table with food that's mostly pancakes. I look for something that I like.

Imagine if they’d fed him pancakes…

Petey said he doesn’t like food that stacks. Technically, don’t graham crackers stack?

I wonder if those are Marcus’s dad and mom behind him? And although I understand the thematic tie-in, I hardly think of pancakes as typical après-theatre fare….

I don’t even consider pancakes real breakfast food.

Pancakes are loaded with butter & syrup. Good; however not so good for you. Same as most foods that are good.

Hm. She’s not fiddling with the glue sticks. Maybe the therapy is working, eh, Miss Bliss?

He is going to be in trouble with his picky eater status. You can stack gram crackers!

Graham crackers DO stack but they’re not meant to be eaten that way, unless there’s chocolate and marshmallow between them (Petey’d have his chocolate and marshmallow on the side).

Pancakes really aren’t the ideal food to eat standing up (unless you dispense with the butter and syrup and then, what’s the point?)

Ms. Bliss still has that “song cue” look. Is a grand finale coming up? Or encore?

Cold leftover pancakes with jelly are good. And if you can’t get to a campfire for s’mores, spread graham crackers with nutella and marshmallow fluff. Bon appétit! ( I know Julia would be proud.)

The play was cheesy but cute. Petey needs a sense or humor.
