Mom: Petey! Grandma put a lot of love into these. Petey: Also alot of molasses glue and road tar. Alice: Ooh! Can I have one?

I really get tired of all the “jokes” about fruit cake. I love fruit cake and have since I was a little kid (I’m 80 now). Also, I like chewy cookies. And of course, Pecan pie!
