    As a kid I once stood on a seacucumber and it turned its insides outside. I waited for a week to die, sure I’d been poisened by some weird tropical biting thing.

    A visit to the seashore is a big learning experience for a four-year-old! Madeline should not be too worried if just a little of Petey’s personality rubs off on Alice—she really does like her big brother, and that’s good.
