You need to go out in the real world, observe something closely, and do a great comic about it! Man: And make this a personal statement! Keep it honest, authentic and grounded in the gritty reality of a modern eight year olds life! Andre: So we have to go out side to do this? Petey: My sister's room is gritty as a coal mine. Can I do my report thing there?

Ah, my friend, Emilio! Your assignment for these third-graders is so quaint! I think Loris is probably already done (twang!), but both Andre and Petey have their own relationships with the Universe, Nature, the Real World, and all that, and it may not match yours….
