Big mistake to mention something like that. There will always be more syrup and Alice will remember what you said, dad.

After that trick/threat, Dad, Alice goes back to climbing up the doorway

Dad is cool.They need to find a sport for Alice.She could be a world class gymnast.Maybe track?Something to burn that energy ;)

Look how far up the wall mom and dad can go, Alice.

We never needed to make a special effort to glue our kids to the chair with sticky foods. It just seemed to happen naturally and automatically.

My parents had a rule that if you couldn’t behave at the table you’d go to your room with nothing. We learned quickly that if we wanted to eat we kept our butts on the seats. I recall while in jr high, my brother and I visited a friend’s house and ate dinner there. The friend’s mom couldn’t stop gushing at how well-behaved and well mannered my brother and I were. It’s call home training and more parents need to start kids young. Behave at home and they’ll behave outside of the home (we’re talking manners here).
