Unsolicited critique on the timing: if you dropped the “now be honest” and the whole third panel I’d find it tighter.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with Jumbo. The third panel pause has the same comedic effect as the slow burn or double-take; it’s used quite frequently in The Barn, and I find that it adds, rather than detracts, from the humor.
