When I played softball 10 years ago. I don’t forget to do things that have me running to meet the garbage man or show up to the airport late forcing me to make a mad dash to the gate or anything like it.

My wife has a spinal cord injury. The last time I ran as fast as I could was when we were on a bicycle ride and she started to fall. I ditched my bike and reached her in time. I am not always so lucky.

It’s been a while. Softball quite a few years back and track in school before that. Have not really had the need to run as fast as I could recently.

Run? As fast as I can? (Does that answer your question?)

About four years ago.The parking garage at work had installed one of those “Your Speed Is” signs to slow down traffic in the garage.I decide to see if I could run fast enough to register on it.Managed to hit 15 mph, according to the sign. Not too shabby for someone in their 50’s.
