This is the first Christmas in years that I’ll see 2 of my 4 kids. The others will be traveling, but one of the college-age grandkids may join us. My lover has his kids in from Wisconsin and Switzerland.
I remember my Tiger Tank and of course, Intellivision. It never caught on like the Atari, but my friends thought it was cool because nobody else had one.
I got my last toy about 6 years ago. I thought the Furby’s were so cute when a friend and I were out shopping…my son comes home for Christmas and he apparently had talked to my friend because he brought two gifts…my favorite (now it is) necklace and a Furby…I still have it but gave up on getting it to talk to me….I have it in the guest room on a shelf with some of his classic toys…it was his room after all…lol…cant wait for him and his lovely wife and my new grandson to get here friday! First time grannies may be a pain, but we sure gots lots of love and enthusiasm!
he’s complaining about shopping for one kid? My Mom had 6 and she never complained. She loved Christmas time and bought for all her nieces and nephews. Worked hard all year and always had a Christmas account to save up. I miss her. Appreciate what/who you have. Happy Holidays!
Tony, if you are ill, please get better soon. If you are off on some fabulous vacation, Enjoy and also, bite me….if its that the holidays have you hornswaggled, welcome to the real world. In any event, I missed you today. Happy Holidays, our friend!
I got a Big Wheel. I just knew Santa was gonna bring it. That was the best toy ever. I also remember sitting by the tree when everyone was in bed and looking through JC Penny catalog dreaming…….
