I treat my leftovers the same as always (when I HAVE a Thanksgiving meal). I normally roast a free-range breast and freeze in portion size layers as soon as it cools. I also make my own cranberry orange dressing and keep that (as well as whole bags of cranberries on sale). I don’t LIKE dressing (not even the one I used to make which was a family fav). Par-boiled slices of yams are another regular freezer staple and so are individual containers of Cuban black beans.

So if I had a dinner party, I would freshly make most of those things or some variant and save the leftovers as I normally do. With my current vegetarian regime, I’m glad not to deal with trying to make a meal that accommodates it; I had home made chili and wild rice for my evening meal yesterday (and heard from my children on the phone) – headed to grocery today.
