Yes, one of my current regular routes to shopping is right past the local grade school. Once I move to Sun City it will be less impact (as a senior community, there are no local schools but plenty of senior centers for all the craft clubs).
My sons are out of school now. I do have to watch for school busses and the kids on my way to work. What I hate most is that it means summer is winding down, SIGH!

Yes, my favorite places to eat lunch are packed with high schoolers and the street outside work becomes a racetrack @ 3 PM.
