Never developed so-called “good study habits.”Sent to a desk after dinner, to do my homework, I spent hours making chains of paperclips, doodling, reading everything BUT my assignments…Why?Ask a teenage mind.Deadlines passed, notes were sent home, punishments were meted out…. I still didn’t turn in a lot of my homework.Luckily (or unluckily, cos it allowed me to skip learning self-discipline) I was a fast reader with a good memory, and I still made the honor roll…by the skin of my teeth. And somehow…. I do not know how…. grew up to be one of those “detail oriented” diligent types I tried so hard NOT to be.
Too bad with all the jokes about education here that nobody has noticed that “generation” is the singular subject twice followed by plural verb. It should read “generation…realizes” and “generaton….gets…..”
No I didn’t do my homework..As for doing my kid’s homework, no. I do however have to give many reminders so things get done on time. Right now he is doing a science fair project that involves plants and a certain amount of time under the grow light. It’s not easy for a busy 5th grader to remember when 8 hours is up. It’s also not easy for a busy mom to remember either.

Not in school right now, was lousy at doing my homework when I was (which explains my really low GPA)

Since homework is most of my grade right now, yeah, I do it. But verrry grudgingly and at the last minute.

Do you do your kids homework?
No, they did it themselves! This is why they’re so successful today. Oh, and our grandkids are diligent with homework as well…

QOTD #2: No, I wouldn’t do my kids homework, had 1 that developed good study habits on his own graduated from his home schooling ahead of schedule.

I survived high school and college by writing all my papers the day they were due. Turns out that’s no way to do a dissertation.

I was one of those annoying good/nerdy kids. So, yes, I did my homework.
