Basketball or Hockey? They’re both fast paced with lots of action, but the main sport at my alma mater is hockey. My son is going there now. When we took him there for his freshman year we were invited to a breakfast for alumni families. We got to meet the president and being 2 years younger that he I was by far the oldest alumnus in attendance. He grew up near Melbourne and he’s a really nice guy (even though he’s a Geelong Cats fan ;-)). While talking to him I learned that he likes hockey because the fast paced wide open play reminded him of Footy (Australian Rules Football) [Footy! March 21st]
She’s a WNBA fan? Who knew? Despite the frontal display which he apparently doesn’t look at anymore. But then again, he probably thought she was out of earshot.
Of the 2 choices, hockey, but I do watch the NCAA tournament to root for the underdogs.
