while not a teenager anymore, I at times have a hard time with my indoor voice… sometimes it’s normal, sometimes it’s quiet, and other times it unexpectedly goes loud (my mother’s grandnephew — on the other hand — has it pretty low that at times it’s inaudible)

One of my son’s had a voice that really carried a long distance. I think it has mellowed over time.
