    Do you clean the curtains?

    The what now?

Seriously; we haven’t got any – yet. It just wasn’t necessary because there aren’t any residences facing our windows. But there will be…

Every few years. Did it two years ago because I had new windows installed. Maybe I will clean them again in 5 years. In between, I will just put them in the dryer w/out heat for a few minutes. Keeps the dust down.

I built a new home 4 years ago. I installed blinds on every window. Not one has curtains. They just don’t match the decor.

I tried, but they were so old they disintegrated on contact. Not only that but the plastic around the curtain rod. Both just got replaced.

Part of spring cleaning week off. Take down curtains and wash them. Line dry while I wash windows inside and out. Then iron (when needed) and rehang curtains.
