Yep. Got the last present yesterday. Today is clean up and helping to make apple cake for tomorrow’s breakfast. Double checking that we have everything that we need for Christmas dinner. etc.
one Christmas Eve my better half and i went Christmas shopping walking to different stores in different shopping malls in the area and then walked home carrying several bags of gift s each instead of driving to avoid all the holiday traffic. it was one of the best Christmas shopping experiences ever!!!!!!
For a few years between my divorce from my first wife and meeting my second I had a girlfriend who liked to prepare a picnic lunch/bento and go to a shopping mall on Xmas Eve and laugh and have a good time eating while watching all the crazy people buying last second gifts. One time a cop accused us of drinking alcohol when it was just Martinelli’s Sparkling Apple Juice.
