    Tony asked

    What did you invent?

I’ve just read gcarlson ’s comment from yesterday.

In that case: a killer vegan chili and a vegetarian lasagna so good that nobody misses the meat or even suspects that there’s none in it.

And I combined two falafel recipes which led to the compliment at one of our parties that the meat-balls were extremely delicious…

And when you pick it up and listen, you can hear all your neighbors talking as well. Awsome! Not so much.

I have one on my office wall (a keepsake) that came from the house I grew up in. It is wood and has a crank.

Dealings too much effort. How about we get rid of the rotary wheel and just talk into the receiver, a disembodied voice could then connect us to the party we are trying to contact!

And it’s so much more secure. You don’t have to worry about hackers or malware.
