As much as it results in pollution, we will never completely stop using fossil fuels. The crude oil has so many other uses. That said, solar and wind power when used appropriately would result in less pollution. Right now, the ability to make a profit by certain large petroleum corps is what holds this back.

We tried exploring better options but for some reason nuclear hasn’t been very popular.
