For a change, I found the following on the net regarding sign language puns: “There is a pun in ASL about hearing versus deaf coffee, referring to caffeinated versus decaf, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to hearing people. That’s because when you fingerspell “decaf” and “deaf”, they look or feel very similar, even though they sound completely different in spoken English.”
