Pop quiz kiddies: Given the clues that “the clown fired that funny gun up in the air” and Tracys’ assertion that she has been shot, how many weeks before he thinks to ask to see the clowns gun and question him?

There must be a devious twist here. I think having thousands of witnesses was somehow essential to the crime. And that Mr Pops meant to be seen by everyone firing at just the right moment.

She’s dead on the ground in panel 1………but in panel 2 shes back up falling all over again.

Answer to the Zitpicker’s Textbook…….. It depends on whether or not you are the one in the cuffs. In Naperville, it is very possible that the kid with the yellow eyebrows is the hit-and-run driver and the Zombie-cop wants to know about the car. Matter-of-fact, I’d expect that from Macy!

Snotpickers Grabbag - It’s a good idea to keep your eyes open when you’re driving. BTW - How many people do you think know the “models” of all the cars? I thought it was the license plate you should try to see and remember. Yeah, my grandma can tell a Lexus from a Toyota any day.

Funny how Tess has this figured out in panel 3 but Tracy has to close his eyes and meditate on it through panels 5 and 6 before any light bulbs go off. They should give her the wrist radio and maybe this strip would start moving along.

There is a certain inadvertent operatic quality to all this…like one of those things which some day will be latched onto as emblematic of some sort of High Art. In the here and not though it still seems pretty wanting.

And WAIT. WTF. Tess and Dick swap seats between two panels up there! That is just inexcusably lazy on the part of the cartoonist.
