No, I can’t see the comic, either, but I already read it on another site.

No problems here now. I think Tracy might get suspicious when he smells cigarette smoke in a “hospital”.

Logged off, then on again & no comic. Could this be Teevo’s revenge?

“The set”? Are they going to drug Tracy and try to get him to make some kind of (false) statement? What are they up to? If they wanted Tracy dead, he’d already be so….

    FRANZ : “Thank you Mistress”

The Name, and West Eupopean ’ old school ’ subservient style of respect, reminds of the relationship between Mrs Pruneface and her aide Emil who she would later kill for disobedience…This I believe, is Mrs. Flattop. Sure she wants him dead, but like in all Dick Tracy comics the Rogue must first ’ crow ’ over the victim, and explain why he has to die.. In that World - it will be Tracy’s ’ FAULT ’ for killing Flattop, Angeltop, and Flattop JrNo doubt it will be by slow, painful means, so thar victim Tracy can reflect sorrowfully on his crimes to the Family !

Okay Team Tracy, I see you also watched the Captain America movie not too long ago. I know, I know, the “put him on a set so he won’t know where he is” idea has been used a few times before that too. It just seems kind of soon. Still, I know how great you guys are (coming off the best strip EVER) so I’m just gonna roll with it.

Why was there no wrap up on Davey’s body? He seemed to not get out of the building or even at least very far away. His body would have been found and with all the shooting that went on the police would have figured him to be involved. Is it possible he is still alive? Did he fake being mortally injured to provide a test for Blaze?

The idea was also used in at least a few episodes of Mission Impossible

I agree that it is an excellent movie. The way the James Garner character discovers what is going on is a very well written and thought out part of the plot. I’ll not reveal it here in case someone wants to see it.

Teh, is Sam ever shown WITHOUT a cigarette? And I’m in total agreement about Davey’s demise (or supposed demise). That’s one of the problems with having a cast of thousands. It would take a month to close it out. Only Clive Cussler is a master of that!

I wondered, too, about why there was no mention of Davey when they were enumerating the dead and injured. Blaze left too quickly, but she did deliver the money to Davey’s mother. I wonder if mother is as innocent as depicted.

Why would Mrs. Flattop look like her husband? Did they have this plan all ready and just wait for the opportunity? Seems a little too far-fatched (I accept a certain degree of far-fetchedness}.

She does resemble the Flattop line, doesn’t she? Looks like Team Tracy figured out how to get the Jones family in the strip, echoing what Collins did with Angeltop. Out of the Crime Inc and into a Flattop-related arc (I hope!)? I can’t wait for tomorrow.

Did the wounded Davey get up and walk away? Otherwise, why aren’t Sam, Lee and the others trying to figure out who he is (or was) and what he had to do with Panda?Since Johnny Adonis has been reintroduced, have we ever seen him say a word? He certainly has been the strong, silent type in most of his appearances.Do the remaining cops know about the barracuda? Are they making any effort to drain that pool?

Looks like my observation from yesterday was wrong – those really are part of her hairdo (or head) on this new villianess. I had thought they might have been part of the background when I first saw them.

It was also the theme of an episode of “The Prisoner,” in which Number Six was allowed to “escape” and return to England… except that the “England” he returned to was an elaborate set within the Village, which he figured out when the time on his watch matched the bells of Big Ben… something that shouldn’t have happened because he’d been told the Village was several time zones away, in eastern Europe (or something like that)..It will be interesting to see how Team Tracy pulls the scales from Dick’s eyes (after appropriate plot development, of course)…

By the way, has anyone else noticed that the “magnify” button blurs the image, as if it’s algorithmically enlarging the regular-sized image rather than loading a higher-resolution scan?

Flattop’s wife? I dunno, but it would give her a motive.

(Gotta wonder if her full name isn’t Stiletta Heels.)

I still remember the detail that tips him off. Great movie!

Too much of the action occurred ‘off-screen’.People were shot and there was no follow-up.Someone ends up being devoured by a vine and HOW did that happen.Disappointing.
