“He fell and hit his head against Nightmare’s hooves. Twenty-eight times! Clumsy fellow.”

Just saw this in yesterday’s comments from Morrow: “Fredville, if Mike & Joe can kill off the characters, do you think they could kill off troll posters? RWM and I were just wondering out loud.”Seriously?! Shouldn’t that comment have had an LOL?

It’s obvious that Mr. Angus didn’t get rich by being “Mr. Nice Guy”! Billionaires are like that!

Mornin’ VB and all! Can’t help it, that little voice in my head that says, “He’s, he’s dead Jim.”

Well, now that’s Colassal is dead, who’s going to take over the studio?

Seems I was right about “Nightmare”…..

Was “Nightmare” a mare? Is there such a thing as a “Daymare”?

Well I think it was obvious to all that Angus set up Kolossal with Nightmare for a one way ride, and to no surprise it happened.

“He had hoof prints on his forehead…”

Panel 1 is a classic portrait of the CoD! And I see that my guesses yesterday were pretty much all correct: the screamer was evidently this cute little red-headed script girl (panel 2—surely, she couldn’t be an amnesiac Annie, could she? Her eyes seem to have pupils!); the victim was indeed Kolossal; and it certainly appears that his “accident” involved the hooves of Nightmare. So, Tracy, unravel this one, before Tabby skips.

Hope this is not the same plot as the Lenord Aig storyline from spring 1977. Zero Naught had horseshoes attached to a golf club, but had the hoof marks backwards.

do you think tracy is gonna turn his head and walk away like he did with blackjack? after all, he has some first hand information that kolossal and angus had “issues” and that sparkplug was used to line kolossal’s pockets

Leapin’ Lizards! Love the red-haired girl with the big round eyes – uh, eye glasses.

The next panel should show Kolossal looking like Beetle Bailey after he’s tangled with Sarge – arms and legs sticking out in all directions, one eye closed, teeth missing, etc.Kolossal mutters, “I’m not dead. Really, I’ll be fine. Ouch.”And as he’s loaded into an ambulance, “I’ll get better…”

I have to admit, I’m more into puns than poetry – and yours was a good one!.(Just horsing around).Still, I was hoping it would be the other way around – a dead Angus with Kolossal receiving the interrogation…

Totally love Angus’ expression in Panel 3. I hope he sticks around; think he could be a fun villain.

He Daid Mr Dillon….

Lizz is usually spot-on with her theories of crime scenes, but she has gone astray this time. Maybe when Vera said he was schooled in MMA (mixed-media art), she mistook his brag to mean he was schooled in Mixed Martial Arts. To falsely accuse Vera of Kolossal’s death would be a nightmare...Thanks to cpalmeresq, Gweedo and JPuzzleWhiz for the kind words. Much appreciated!

I can just picture the conversation right now:

Angus: “Do you suspect foul play, Mr. Tracy?”Tracy: “No, I suspect horseplay, Mr. Angus!”

Well at least this time there appears to be a body..(ie Abner and the Nitrates)

“When and where did Lizz make such an accusation?”.She didn’t. I was just having a wee bit of fun with the panel from 1975. Vera has been suspected of wrong doing on more than one occasion. He is usually guilty of nothing more than too much ego and too little wisdom.

Bobby, like you, I try to not leave anything unfinished. But here in Tracyverse (or, The Good Ship Tracypop in trollspeak), unfinished business is the norm, and now the expected norm. There is a bunch of baddies that evaporated without a trace still on people’s minds.
