Ah a slight flaw in an otherwise flawless plan!

Bribery’s expression of shock and dismay in the last panel …. priceless – wonder if we’ll see it again: a) when he finds out that Tracy survived the attempted rub out and/or b) if they figure out who pushed the jogger in front of the bus and arrest him for it.

Moon Governor probably mined out all of the gold before his people left the moon. I can’t believe someone as greedy as the Gov would leave too much gold behind him.

Just an aside: the Lunarians’ history have some parallels with Marvel Comics’ Inhumans. The Lunarians were introduced in 1963, the Inhumans in 1965. Both are races that were once hidden from humanity and whose people have powers greater than normal humans. The Lunarians do not feel cold, and in recent years one of the Inhuman royal family (Medusa) claimed that Inhumans do not really feel cold either. In recent years, the Lunarians moved from Moon Valley (which has lost its atmosphere) to some other location, very possibly on Earth; a few decades ago, the Inhumans moved from their hiding place in the Himalayas to the Blue Area of the Moon, an area with an atmosphere created by the Uatu, the Watcher assigned to the region including Earth.

All pretty much coincidence, but interesting!

Too many segues for me. I’d like to see what the MCU is doing since Tracy knows it was Sawtooth. I’d like to know how Lee is handling Quirk. I’d love an explanation how the MCU implanted a mole in Bribery’s “hideout”, and considering how much info she has absorbed, why has she not ratted them out. Spies have a responsibility to their employer, btw. Maybe Lee/T-Bolt is enjoying two paychecks to payoff her Christmas bills. I’d like to know what the weeks-long emphasis on the Honeymoon/UC relationship meant.

Is there really THAT much gold on the moon that he went to the trouble he did and spent millions of dollars doing it?

I assume that Glitch is now soundly asleep in a closet and T-Bolt is inching her way to the nearest exit.

There are metals far more precious than gold. Cadmium, gallium-arsinide, chromium, platinum even uranium. Gold is the ancient “god metal” so important to deities all over the world.

We all know Lee isn’t gonna kill Quasi, so what are her options? Well, she COULD lie and say she swiped it off Johnny (THE MAN!!!) Adonis when she beat the snot outta him years back in the alley, or since she is in a storage closet maybe she’ll klonk him over the head with a bucket and mop

Sure hope Bribery goes down soon for the hit and run shoving.

Someone help me out here. I seem to remember seeing some really early strips of Bribery and remember him being called Joie Packet – though current Tracy canon now states that Packet was the body double that died instead of Bribery. My problem is, Bribery was his nickname since, up until the space coupe and moon gold capers, Packet ’s crime was, in fact, bribery. He would use CCTV to record each and every political and judicial member on his payroll. It is from discovery of these video tapes that Packet earned his nickname of Bribery, and it was from this point on that we never hear of his previous name.

There may be gold in them thar hills (and valley), but it seems you’re going to have to do a heist from NASA (moonsuits) before you can reap your coveted spoils.

This development makes Moon Governor and Mysta Chimera more expendable, but I’m sure Bribery will hang onto them for the time being, until he can recover from his shock and come up with a Plan B….

Well, one difference between now and back then is, Sawtooth still remains the “MLSH” (Most Likely to be a Shrunken Head) while with the more grim writing allowed before, the next time you would have seen T-Bolt was as a head inside a glass casing….sure would have dialed up the drama a few notches…..although she is likeable, so not saying I’m wishing it happened.

I guess we’ll never have giant escargot again!
