Topper is ordering Kato around, but at least he got his undercover name, Shiyaki, right today.

Small consolation; Kristin didn’t get murdered while doing a human kindness of getting someone treatment.

What came first, P-Q’s story board or this week’s strip installs ?  looks mighty good and simple that guys like me can follow, by the numbers !

The eye holes for the Green Hornet domino mask are too large. I would have filled those in made them closer to the eye. Though the first masks used in the series did change them enough to where you would have had a much harder time. Unfortunately they looked good and they half blinded the actors.

I have a theory. Lafayette is actually hired by The Green Hornet to funnel exactly the right information to the cops.

Topper is really starting to annoy Kato. I wonder if the base for the Hornet sleep gas can be mixed in liquid. Presume that the base is colorless, odorless, and, tasteless. (THe last part also applies to Topper.)

Is he masquerading as “Issac” from the Love Boat? And I used to play in the opera in Central City Colorado….that’s where Bigfoot lives

So the “other” comics site wasn’t as far off last week as I thought when they published their strip with Kato having a darl complexion.

Lt. Tragg was a friendly nemesis to Perry Mason, maybe a story featuring Mason might be developed.

Egad. The barrage of informants & undercover ops in this strip. That’s what we call lazy writing, kids. Nothing earned here, just convenient exposition shortcuts.

Comment about a few days ago, when Dick Tracy, Sam and the rest raided Topper while the Green Hornet was confronting him….- Careless police work. They should have spotted the Green Hornet’s car and driver, and arrested her, before going in.

Thinking about it all, I have to think that Central City has a very corrupt police force. Otherwise what reason would the Green Hornet have for posing as a crook, and risk arrest himself?

A late but heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day to all those here in Tracyville who feel it is applicable.

You know a storyline is in trouble when most of the discussion is forced on a character who doesn’t even appear in Dick Tracy. And if Lafayette was a source for Chief Patton back when Patton was walking a brief in Central City, he must have done it from his crib.

Lafayette must be older than he looks. Maybe he wears a hairpiece—even if not so fine as the big red wig Casey has removed and placed on its stand, next to her Red Wasp mask (1st panel in tier 3). Kinda odd printout the Green Hornet reads from; looks almost like an old-fashioned ticker-tape. Sometimes there seems to be an uneasy blend of old and new technologies in this strip. But Tracy (with a little help from Smith Industries) makes it all work….
