Tracy does NOT look amused by Pitchblende’s humor.

Sayed Bassam Pacha was a very brave and dedicated man. How many people would have done what he did to save those people he didn’t know at the expense of his own life? Truly commendable.

Tracy’s use of Touche’ really doesn’t make any sense at this point in the conversation. There’s no hint of any verbal exchange between them.

So now we learn that Polar Vortex is out on bail on drug trafficking charges. So that means the writers skipped over the part about Tracy arresting him for drug trafficking. I hate when the writers skip large chunks of story. No wonder this has been had to follow.

Why is Tracy checking his wrist genie, while giving Pitchblende some advice?

Piotr Volkov (or Vorkov, as he sometimes calls himself and as Tracy does here), a.k.a. Polar Vortex, is out on bail. We didn’t even know he had been arrested! Oh, well; carry on, lads!

Today’s strip is mostly a Visual Pun, helping explain how some receptionists could confuse Tracy with J. Straightedge Trustworthy. The throw-away panel right of the Roll of Honor panel) showing Trustworthy is itself deliberately reiterated or parodied in the strip’s last panel, where Tracy looks back over his shoulder and resembles Trustworthy, even as he ends his exceedingly brief (almost pointless) visit to Peter Pitchblende’s studio….

Two-way wrist radio making a comeback? What happened to the Geenie or the model which had a screen?
