If they’d actually walk, they wouldn’t need the prunes…

    Door?

    Hi Marg, and mornin’ all.

Backwards, I finally figured out, cos the door’s wide open, and they’re already heading out.

Tad can trot along behind with the bags …. and here’s a good tip for you, young man:

“Don’t expect one from the Pennys.”

    Nice place, Crust Foods.

No Employee of the Month cos they all hate all the customers, and it shows.

Then again, in a town full of people like the four we know, it’s understandable.

So they keep the store open as little as possible, 8 till noon weekdays only — and the advertised sale ends when you walk in the door.

Even the employees stock up on cookies at Big Lots and stay away from the hamburger when it’s on special.

A perfect distillation of the Penny Ethic, if there is one! Maybe Joy can’t walk because her purse is so heavy——with the little items that just fell into it.Good morning everyone, it’s good to see you all up and about with smiles on. Have a second cuppa joe on me.

Paper or plastic…hmmmm. If you choose plastic you are destroying the environment, if you choose paper you are destroying the forests. Damned if do, damned if you do.

Sprouts, where I shop even has double specials (week before + current) on Wednesdays when flyers come out. And open 7 days a week and they carry many specialty organic foods as weel as the best general produce prices in town.
