OMG!! People are always posting that they laughed out loud, snorted coffee, etc, over a comic.
Honestly, I practically live for the comics; but when I’m alone I rarely react physically.
This one got me…. and I laugh out loud again when I re-read it. I can’t even explain why.Whew!
OK…. good morning…..um…. everybody but Leaky, I guess…
(sniffle)…. but never mind, you can have one too, Leaky…. I’m just that nice.
Evaporated milk!!! Hahahaha!!!(Sorry.)The other suggestions here are good too.
I don’t want to think of him as chopped liver, though, cos I love chopped liver, especially my chopped liver… and I don’t want to gag at the mental picture of Jerry’s hair in it.’
Julie posted months ago that she should ask the colorist to quit making all of Joy’s flowered blouses green with orange…. so are we seeing a new era… in shades of yellow, red and pink?
I think the flatness of Jerry’s head makes the evaporated milk line funnier.
Couple of things from yesterday…. begging your indulgence, all….
I want to thank jmcx4 for the kind words….
And yeah…. to Purple, too…. 4 pounds for $1 is cheap even here, where a good price for oranges this time of year is $4 for an 8lb bag.
400 miles south, where they grow, it might be more common.
And ElGuapo, a sweet offer…. but I’m afraid LaGuapa (or Mrs. ElGuapo) wouldn’t take kindly to it….
And she’s no doubt younger than me, and faster on her feet.
Leaky, I know.
And Marg…. I’ve been looking….
Alt 3 is the most common advice given…. If you used another alt code before, I’m sure you already know you have to be sure to hold down the alt key while you press and release the 3,
and you also must use the numeric keypad, and not the numbers above the letters.
HTML is trickier cos each site determines which bits of code will work there for visitors.
I found some interesting heart variations but they don’t work on GoComics.
My guess that the code for a regular heart would be &heart; was very close… you have to make it plural…. hearts…. and it will work here,
If I write it correctly you’ll see a ♥ instead of the code.
oh wait…. ♥ that should display it.
Ampersand hearts semicolon
Another lazy sort of thing I do is keep a little document handy containing code and symbols I might want to use, so I can just paste them in.
Good Friday eve, everyone! They may just be outside one of their houses and the others are vixiting a neighbor; that would explain having the regular mugs. I think a tall thin person of either gender is sometimes called that, especially by the opposite gender.
Thanks again, Susan, I think this weekend I will experment on what i can do with the Alt code. Don’t worry, I will delete them before I post them, or shortly thereafter.
If we are comparing people to drinks, Burl would make a fine Boonesfarm or Ripple, do they still make that?
Haha. Jerry better watch out. That “tall drink” may dump that little cutie he’s talking to, and make a move on his lady. Well, maybe not.How did they get in a place with “normal” people, anyway?
I have a special mini knife which is serrated and small as well as very thin and curved. I only use for cutting each segment of grapefruit and for removing the leafy part of each strawberry. It is good for delicate operations. Mine is small and has one blade, but this one is similar and reasonable price. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/kitchen-and-food/prep-utensils/grapefruit-knife/s539716
My news heads often refer to Thursday as “Friday eve”. To me, most days are the same because I use them as I require and very few stores have days closed, though my water store is closed on Sundays. Also, why do you assume we are vegans because discussing one fruit? I love meat; I roasted a turkey breast yesterday and carved it and ate one portion today- very yummy with fresh herbs, carrots and onion roasted inside.

Or otherwise, “So what am I, chopped liver?” Back to Jerry, his time came and passed by whilst he was looking the other way.
Good morning, dear ones.

They’re obviously out of their habitat but Joy brought her coffee cup? Not like them to pass up an opportunity to snag something.

Aloha, GymShoe!
We can sometimes get Pomelos here for about a dollar and a half…. especially during Chinese New Year season.
And…. I hate to say it, but I’ve never tried one.
Grapefruit are so much cheaper; and I always thought they must taste about the same —
But coincidentally, just a few days ago, a friend mentioned that she loved pomelos.
She said they’re much sweeter than grapefruit, but you have.to cut them in half and eat them with a spoon, so you don’t get any bitter membrane.
Funny that just came up!Guess I have to try one!
Hope you’re having a good time.
