The sad thing is, we all should be more interested in who runs the country, as it affects us every day….but the divisiveness, the rancor and hyperbole have driven us to run away, just the Pennys, just when we ought to be paying attention.
That’s the very moment they pull a fast one, you know.
Pass some Draconian law, drag us into war…
the Pennys would never notice, but I will, too late…… and I have only myself to blame for not watching.
The problem is we have NO decent candidate this election, at least so far. I don’t think we can afford to go through another four years like we just have.
Come on Trump, throw your hat in. I don’t really care for you, but I know you can fix an ailing organization. This would just be a bigger scale.
Rather than all the political ads and mudslinging, people who vote should just have actual voting records and actions of all the candidates (and be required to read them).

@Susan, Unfortunately we all tune out with “the divisiveness, rancor and hyperbole”. There has not been a pol in decades to whom I can feel totally dedicated (I loved Goldwater in his first run). I know my views are extreme ;-D
ugh. if these guys are what the gop is REALLY thinking of showing up, it’ll be another election where the republican voters stay home in droves. congratulations, mr obama.
