Love the generator. Snaps together in two hours and it is either gas or electric. I think an electric powered generator would be great. Quiet. No gas or fumes. Connect it to the closest outlet. Why hasn’t someone thought of that before?BTW Burl, if that guy can carry a generator up/down a ladder by himself, I certainly wouldn’t recommend messing with him!
Hey, Crustwoodians … Only two weeks till Mother’s Day…. and have you checked out this great selection of gifts? What Mom wouldn’t love a band saw, especially one that comes apart?
Or if you can’t afford that, a $49 “Holiday” Port-a-Vac…. or for only $14.99, the matching plunger set?
The Mother’s Day versions come in pink or lilac with floral trim.
Mom will get her chores done in style! And you can proudly watch!Maybe wearing a Chance Gardener T-shirt like Burl’s.
Mikie — I answered your question arising from Leaky’s post yesterday.
And the trouble with those darn electric generators is you have to charge them up before they’ll run.So if you’re having an outage and you plug it in and turn it on, and nothing happens, you might have to give it a few hours…just be patient.Be sure you tell all the neighbors that when it’s charged you’ll invite them over to watch TV while you wait for the electric company. They’ll get a kick out of that.el8… coincidentally, I posted to you on Candorville before I came here tonight.
Towards the end of yesterday’s posts, Mikie2 gives a rather intimate and exact description of Leaky’s “accident”. Rather heroic. As to the “Cirque de Cialis” the show must go on!
All such useful and thoughtful gifts and I saw the nose at first glance. I was busy this morning over at the nest. All 3 eggs are hatched and keeping parents busy. I just love seeing the 3 clumsy little fuzzballs with my cutie up on my shoulder.

He’ll get to you when he get’s to you, Burl. If he were to drop everything, it may just land on your head. Say, that’s not a bad idea!

Great gift ideas! I bought a girlfriend a plunger set for Valentine’s day. I still don’t know why she broke up with me.
Howdy-ho Crustwoodians!
