What is with the misplaced apostrophe? Bands is plural, not band’s.
Julie is a funny cartoonist, and a rather … um… casual speller.
I’ll take that over unfunny and grammatically correct.
Much as I am irked by spelling and grammar mistakes in publications…
I’ve come to accept that a passing grade in neither subject is a prerequisite for being funny….
or for that matter, for the right to comment in comics forums.
People who can’t spell, or who, for instance, misuse apostrophes, usually don’t look things up if they think what they typed is already correct….
and I’d rather hear what they have to say than fuss over their breaking the “rules.”
