If it’s fun, it’s not work. But, many people still make livings at things that they enjoy. You just have to find someone willing to pay money for what you like to do, such as with artists, actors and musicians. I like sex, so I’m going to work with that.
One thing many of us tend to forget is that while work itself might not be entertaining as T-Rex would like it to be, sometimes the product of our work is enjoyed by others. Whether you work at a desk helping others who are in need of information or getting something done or on an assembly line, those on the receiving end may appreciate and enjoy the sum of you and possibly your peers efforts. I mean who doesn’t enjoy the idea or actuality of driving their brand new (or even used) car? There’s just one product whose existence is owed to the sum of everybody’s less-than-entertaining workdays – yet many want the result!
