Seems to me there’s a fallacy in Utahraptor’s comment in the lower left panel, “But billionaries [sic. sp?] aren’t uniformly jolly!” I don’t believe happiness and jolliness always go together … i.e., not all happy people are jolly, and vice versa. So I don’t think the comment supports the argument.

Money can buy beer, but you only rent beer. Ergo, money isn’t as good as beer that you can keep forever.

I think the important thing to note here is that money can buy happiness…it’s just not a lasting happiness, and is usually more fleeting.
