There was a suicide jumper mentioned on yahoo a week or so back that landed on a pedestrian and took him out. Courts can’t figure out which charges to file first.
Someone once told me that humans are wired to desire increasingly large doses of adrenaline. One manifestation of this is their increasingly dangerous driving, resulting in the increased release of ever larger amounts. Automotive design changes that make cars ever more safe just stoke ever more dangerous driving. They proposed that, to counteract that, instead of an airbag on the steering wheel there should be a 2 foot, sharp steel spike sticking out of the steering column. People would get the maximum dose of adrenaline while significantly safer driving would be encouraged (to say the least!)
And that is why people are so attached to their cell phones.. It releases a large amount of dopamine into the system when they get a “like” or an email. An “up” tick in emotions.
