My lab is very good with most other dogs, but the dog two houses down has always been her arch nemesis. They have been in vicious fights over the course of their lives. When she walks by the house she barks and strains at her leash when Rosebud is out on their deck and if my dog is off of her leash she runs over and looks up at the second story deck and taunts her.

My dog will bark at anyone or anything from behind the fence or on the lead, but will try and make friends when she isn’t.

One time we had some drunks being idiots outside our house. They started yelling at our dog cause she kept barking at them. We decided to let her at ‘em to get them to move on, but she just ran up to them and rolled on her back for a tummy rub…

A friend of mine used to have a wee chihuahua who would terrorize the rest of the dogs in the neighborhood! In fact, once day he chased the entire pack of them down the street and corralled them in a fence while yelling at the top of his lungs! Much to the amusement of the neighbors!

Well you’re a good dog Sophie, you tried to be a peacemaker. But they have to want to make up.

When Moxie was in her puppy classes, the trainer had a Great Dane. The most aggressive dog in the class was the Yorkie.

Little dogs are always the most vocal. Most of the dogs on my street are laid back, but a Jack Russell and two Yorkies are like little bark machines.

Sophie: Too bad you can’t read minds. Both those dogs have faulty memories. The plot thickens!

Little dogs somehow never seem to KNOW that they’re little. I don’t think it’s a bluff, either; a 5-pound Yorkie BELIEVES he can take out a 100-pound Rottweiler…
