I like panel sequences that are completely visual. Having a huge jet of water occupying where Doug was standing is just one of those things where you can imagine the “Whoosh” without any of the cheesy 60’s sound effects.
Anthropomorphisation (sp?) is also a nice little thing that I love about this comic.
