I really wish that you would stop picking on Sophie. She is a dog. She acts like a dog.
As for her relationship with Doug, that is typical of any big sibling with a younger one. It is in fact, better than some such relationships.
I can only assume that it has been so long since you were a child that you have forgotten what it was like.
I had been thinking that you must have been either an only child or the eldest until I read one of your recent posts where you talked about your own siblings… although come to think about it, you mentioned in that post that you had forgotten things and had asked your sister if she remembered, so that kind of reinforces my current theory that it has just been too long ago and you have forgotten what it was like.
