@Gweedo: Actually, my dog loves it when I change her food. She scarfed the first few bowls down in just a day or two, while normally one lasts half a week. I gave her a bowl of her old food, though, and it’s been out for almost a week with only a nibble here and there. Dogs can be a little catlike, too, sometimes. ;)

Yah, Sophie loves to try new food. Just couldn’t really do a strip about what really happens during the adjustment period.

Frog Applause is one of my favs. Maybe it’s starting to bleed into my strip.

Good one Brian. My foodhound could care less when we change, but the other dog does have a little period of adjustment. At least he’s learned that if he’s finicky, his sister won’t leave him anything to eat.

This is what happens to my Lab when the vet gives her prednisone for her allergies.

Our dog gets wet and dry food and will pretty much scarf down anything. (I don’t think even taste buds get involved.) Our cat, however, also gets wet and dry food but is very persnickety. She doesn’t seem to like fish in her food. Huh?
