I remember a cat we had who also liked to sit in the sink and watch the water drip (even around her ears) and didn’t mind that it pooled around her paws.
Cats don’t like being surprised by water. Though I still don’t understand the sleep in the bathroom sink.Last year’s Calgary flood was horrible. But did give a lot of amazing photos and videos. Google the Calgary and High River flood of 2013 and search for swimming cat. A young man and his cat were trapped in his pickup with water rising. They got out from the back window (apparently the cat pushed pass his human) and swam for shore will the flood waters completely engulfed his pickup. Its a cool video. The cat is a strong swimmer and used his tail like a rudder.

“Technically, only one of us is fishing at a time. This way, it’s a spectator sport, too.”

@Doc: My cat, in her old age, finally figured the heck with it and started coming right on into the shower with me. She loves it.
