Several years ago I was using a public restroom when someone knocked on the door. The bathroom didn’t have a lock on the door, but it did have an electronic lock controlled by the person at the nearby information desk. I yelled out to let the person at the door know that the i was in the room, then there was another knock and I heard the lock buzz even as I yelled out that the bathroom was in use. The person who opened the door was so busy listening to his phone that he never heard me yelling at him to close the door, or notice that I was sitting on the toilet. The person at the information desk was occupied with two teenage girls and never noticed what was happening, but the girls had a clear view of me through the open door. For about 2 minutes I kept yelling at the guy to close the door, but he never heard me until he finished his call and turned to step through the door he’d been holding open that whole time. He saw and heard me at the same time and the last thing I saw of him was the suprsed and embareassed look on his face as he finally closed the door.

Not having thumbs is a blessing… when you run into that other dog, not having an umbrella is a curse.

It’s a good thing, Sophie…texting, walking and being plugged in can get you into trouble. Go BAK to sleep.

That’s a nightmare? I thought it’d be a good dream for her.
