She deserve a swat at least. Lightly on the head with a rolled up paper. Or at least harsh sounds trying to show it as a bad bad thing.
The only times our St Bernard comes in messy is when it is raining or snowing out
We keep an old beach towel by the door to dry her off, but sometimes we have to catch her first
My Yorkie mix female tolerates being dried off and brushed. My Maltepoo mix enjoys both.
I had a german shepherd that LOVED towlies! I pulled out the towel and boy he loved being dried off.
The two dogs I have now, I have to hold the collar in one hand and dry them off with the other. Oh so fun. :P
Saving work by making work. As long as it all balances out in the end, you’re golden.
