Squirrels should ask Annie. She doesn’t understand role playing, but her density should be adequate protection against the cats.

Can’t say she’s out of character. Geralt of Rivia drew the line at fighting dragons.

I am thinking the cats would be great role players. The problem is that they use real knives and the damage points are in blood. Cats have great imaginations, they just don’t pretend well.

The two Cats don’t role play, they play for keeps. You have seen their hidden lab under the house? The lower minion of the dark outer spheres they have living under the steps? They are renegades from cat-kind who defend us from the monstrosities of other planar dimensions. (“The Cats of Ulthar”) They have done so for centuries. Only others killed those humans who helped them. They were called “witches”. The Old Ones can produce evil minds that are sensitive to their emanations. And lure others to the savagery in Man’s heritage. To bring it out.
