    I learned long ago that the most direct way to success is to meet obstacles head on and over come them. That led to the realization that the best way to actually succeed is to move toward my goal while avoiding obstacles.

    That Annie’s pretty smart. She could spend a lot of time struggling to climb the sofa or she could change the story line a bit a and just walk around back.

    It’ll take longer, but yeah, one can almost always go around a mountain, and it’s often preferred, seeing it requires less effort or danger in the long run.
