Annie should imagine she’s a different kind of bird and fly over the Black Spine Mountains.

Sophie: “Unless you’re talking about the doorway into the kitchen, or plowing through the cliffwall behind the mountains, no. But, yes, the adventurers really need a food break right now.”

I learned long ago that the most direct way to success is to meet obstacles head on and over come them. That led to the realization that the best way to actually succeed is to move toward my goal while avoiding obstacles.

That Annie’s pretty smart. She could spend a lot of time struggling to climb the sofa or she could change the story line a bit a and just walk around back.

I’m thinking Doug might have a wee bit of difficulty with the Black Spine Mountains.

It’ll take longer, but yeah, one can almost always go around a mountain, and it’s often preferred, seeing it requires less effort or danger in the long run.

Our little dog would go under them…but watch out for the Goblins!
