I once looked into applying for a job as an UPS delivery guy and attended a preliminary training meeting where they discussed how the job worked. They told me you’re actually supposed to not try and deliver packages if there are unattended dogs loose in the yard, for safety and liability reasons.
So if Sophie actually wants to stop such deliveries, going inside is actually the last thing she probably wants to do.
Oh Sophie you remind me of our Lab, Alex except he hated the UPS drivers and would growl and bark up a storm. We had big and I mean BIG sign on our fence on the front side that said BEWARE OF DOG. Do you think they listened “NOPE” so they would drop the box over the fence. Luckily Alex would leave the box alone. However, I still called their office as Alex must have gotten hit the next time as he went bonkers on the box and ruined what was in it. So I called and told the office what happened and that there was a BIG SIGN, ‘BEWARE OF DOG’. Then I called the company we ordered from. They replaced it and sent it by Fed Ex and I told them to “PUT THE PACKAGE BY THE FRONT DOOR”. As much as Alex didn’t like UPS he hated FedEx….he knew when they were out there and growled and snarled till they left.
