It’s easy to be an animal crusader when you are sitting safe and warm inside your home in the city, when the only thing you need to worry about is a stray dog and animal control only a phone call away. The first time you, your family, or livestock is threatened you wouldn’t be so generous with your outrage. I’m not suggesting wanton execution of any animal, but as long as the human race continues to grow and expand, the habitat (and populations) of wildlife will continue to decline.
