Worked in a pharmaceutical laboratory and one Halloween someone hung a spider that would drop when activated by a clapping sound. Early one evening housekeeping was mopping and when he released the wringer it made clapping noise and down came spider right in front of him. He let out a squeal and some colorful epithets. Eventually we all laughed and from that day forward, whenever he entered the lab, he looked up for any surprises.
